Blue Life acquires Overseas based South Pacific Sunlight Corp. Blue Life USA, LLC announced the finalization to the acquisition of South Pacific Sunlight (SPS). The deal, which was finalized in October, 2006, includes the currently marketed SPS Metal Halide "Mogul" socket light bulbs, along with the HQI "double ended" Metal Halide and Power Compact light bulbs. To date, only the "Mogul" style SPS bulb was available in the United States to the aquarium trade. South Pacific Sunlight bulbs to available January 2007 include: Metal Halide Mogul Socket - 175, 250 & 400 watt 10k, 14k & 20k Double Ended (HQI) - 150, 250 & 400 watt 10k, 14k & 20k Power Compact light bulbs - 65 & 96 watt 10k, 50/50 & True 03 Actinic.
